Cost versus quantity when purchasing promotional products. This topic came up recently with a long-term client who expected the cost per item to be less because they purchased a low quantity. What?! This comment startled me, as this client has purchased many products over the years. This time, however, they did not purchase a large amount.
The best way I can sum up purchasing promotional products is to liken it to purchasing at a bulk-rate. The cost of the promotional products you buy are tied to the quantity you are buying. If you buy less, you pay more for each one; if you buy more, you pay less for each one. This is and always has been the pricing structure.
